AROUND THE CLOCK DINER
The diner has been around since the early 1900's, No one us entirely sure when the little restaurant opened. As far as most of the citizens of the city are concerned, the diner had always been there.
A service counter dominates the interior, with a preparation area against the back wall, floor mounted stools for customers lined the front. Booths lined the wall parallel to the counter. The smell of grease, and coffee beans would fill the air. The diner is usually always full of customers around lunch and dinner time.
Alexandra Stone is new to town, but saw buying the diner as an opportunity to put her business management skills to the test. She doesn't like to be mean and has an innocent aurora about her, but she does take being in charge seriously. Her OCD tendencies has her wanting everything perfect. ( just leave a notecard with Rage Quartz, or one of the other staff. if looking for a position.)
*Cook: A cook is someone that usually stays behind the counter. You will cook, and talk to customers at the counter. Whether it is heating the grease for the fries or freshly cutting the potatoes, you'll do all of this. You don't need to be pretty or nice, you just need to have a talent for express cuisine and respect for sharp cutlery.
*Waitresses/Waiters: You need to be someone who can tolerate all types of people and races. there will be no turf disputes as you will need to be someone that will make the people feel at home. You will be serving the food, getting the drinks, and dealing with the customers face-to-face. You need to be pretty, nice, respectful and have talent. Mostly pretty. Some days are good and some bad so you can adjust your demeanor accordantly.
*Delivery: You must know your way around the city and beable to protect yourself. Under no circumstances are deliveries to be made to the undercity. You will need to be kind and quick about your job.
*Shift Manager: Are in charge while the boss is away or busy. If something is told by a shift manager from the shift manager, then it comes directly from the owner and orders should be followed. A shift manager should be professional and not abuse power.
There are more positions that will be offered as the diner expand and as people climb the ranks.
To advance all one must do is work and be good at their job! Not hard, right?
Clara- Is a young waitress who can be a bit of a space brain and a clutz, but her blonde hair and bright blue puppy dog eyes keeps her employed.
Mickey- A marine retiree began working at the diner after his time spent with the military. He is a no nonsense type of guy and seems to be second in command in his own mind.
Henry- Is the delivery boy and is always bossed around by the other employees, a bit of a brown noser do to his crush on the boss.
